Art Direction

Kindfull - Target ads

Project Overview: During my Art Direction course, I was tasked with developing an advertising campaign for a Target-owned brand while strictly adhering to its established brand standards guide. I was assigned Kindfull, Target's pet treat brand, and challenged to create imagery that aligned with the brand's visual identity on an accelerated timeline.

Rather than focusing on the product packaging, I chose to highlight the emotional connection between the dog and the treat. Since Kindfull's treats are shaped like hearts, I wanted the campaign to communicate the excitement, trust, and happiness a dog experiences when receiving a Kindfull treat. Working alongside a professional photographer, I had just 15 minutes to capture all the imagery needed for the campaign, which required careful planning, quick decision-making, and strong collaboration on set.

Project Outcome: Designed a full-page print advertisement and a web banner advertisement that adhered to Target's brand standards while presenting a developed concept. The final campaign shifted the focus from the product itself to the dog's experience, creating an emotionally driven message that remained consistent with Kindfull's brand identity.
